Director of Global Products

The Director of Global Products is responsible for the overall success of the assigned product portfolio. Responsible for cradle to grave product management of assigned product lines. Reports to the VP of Marketing.

Engagement Coordinator

As the face of Fluence, the engagement coordinator is a highly visual position focusing on creating the best experience for customers, vendors, and employees when they call or visit the company. You’re responsible for answering phones, greeting and engaging visitors, delegating inbound correspondence, and helping manage rooms and calendars. We are customer focused and our image starts with you.

Customer Relationship Coordinator

The Customer Relationship Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for our customer support efforts at our Global Headquarters in Austin, TX. Reporting directly to the Customer Experience Manager, the Customer Relationship Coordinator will interact with a global customer base to support the functions of warranty service, payments/fraud mitigation, order fulfillment and overall customer satisfaction.

Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assistant will process transactions timely and accurately including but not limited to: vouchering accounts payable invoices, generating payments, applying incoming cash payments, generating customer statements, reconciling vendor accounts and reconciling customer accounts. The Accounting Assistant must have a keen sense for attention to detail and is instrumental in ensuring high-quality standards are embedded in our transactions and systems.

Electrical Engineering Manager

The Electrical Engineering Manager will report to the VP of Engineering with responsibility over product development and technology roadmap with a specific focus on DC and AC Power Distribution and Controls systems. This candidate will lead and develop a team of engineers to develop new and novel LED power supply systems as well as IoT controls for dimming light fixtures, or other sensors and controls. The EE Manager will work closely with our Mechanical Engineering teams responsible for luminaire design and manage strategic partnerships with key vendors and external contract resources. Essentially this candidate will be responsible for all EE-centric develop efforts as Fluence forges a path to state of the art and lower cost LED lighting and controls system in the urban farms of tomorrow.

Lighting Compliance Officer

The Lighting Compliance Officer is responsible for researching, managing and coordinating 3rd party Safety Compliance testing for the Fluence product portfolio.  This person will provide guidance to the design team to navigate electrical/mechanical design requirements on new products.  When the products are ready for testing, the Compliance Officer is the primary liaison with the Certifying Agencies chosen to do the work.  This person is responsible for sending and returning fixtures for testing, organizing all reports and maintaining the technical file pertaining to our products.  In cases where Fluence has opportunities in new markets, the Compliance Officer will work with the Marketing team to understand what certifications are required.  This person will also participate on steering committees and industrial panels involved with scoping the future of lighting regulation and rebate methodologies.

Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for making sure inventory in the manufacturing plant is accurate and properly organized.  The position is responsible for warehouse layout, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy, including root cause determination for discrepancies.

Senior Applications Engineer

The Senior Applications Engineer will be “hands-on” in all aspects of electronic power supply design, including specification development, device selection, prototyping, troubleshooting, testing and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills. This position is also responsible for assisting in supporting new product introductions through the development of sales collateral, application notes and demo systems.

Lighting Designer

The Lighting Designer will develop concepts and strategies for lighting projects with team members, conduct lighting calculations, and be responsible for coordination and integration of electric lighting systems with daylight harvesting controls. This role will also produce lighting models including computer and physical models.
