Job Title: Segment Marketing Manager
Fluence Bioengineering is looking for a Segment Marketing Manager for the commercial vegetable production market, specifically within the greenhouse and vertical farming segments.
Under the direction and guidance of the Vice President of Marketing, the Segment Marketing Manager is responsible for exploring, developing and setting the strategic direction for the owned segment by achieving product vitality and profitable growth objectives. The role collaborates with cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams including marketing, engineering, operations, and sales to outline and achieve P&L objectives.
To be successful in the role, the Segment Marketing Manager has key deliverables achieved through:
1) Understanding and engaging in the technical, operational and commercial drivers of the products and services for assigned segment
2) Recognizing and driving the product road map for assigned segment, which includes product development, life cycles, pricing, and competitive analysis.
3.) Coordinating with Product Development and Sales to enhance current and future product roadmaps to achieve profitable growth objectives. Understand the factors impacting P&L, including cost, margin, service, inventory, and quality.
