Fluence’s EMEA division expands with strong additions to its interdisciplinary team of horticulture specialists

Fluence’s presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa enhanced through new hires’ deep horticulture expertise

AUSTIN, Texas (Feb. 2, 2021)—— Fluence by OSRAM (Fluence) a leading global provider of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions for commercial cannabis and agriculture production, today announced that Peter Hendrix, Dennis Raadschelders and André Lagareiro joined the company’s team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

After expanding Fluence’s footprint into the EMEA market in 2019, the global division has increased Fluence’s market share and grown its team to include numerous technical and horticultural experts focused on grower satisfaction.

The EMEA team’s newest hires include:

    • Peter Hendrix, technical manager, EMEA: Hendrix brings extensive experience in the horticulture lighting market after serving in various positions at Botany, Lights Interaction and Hortilux. Hendrix holds a horticulture degree from HAS Hogeschool and will serve in a key role supporting strategic customer projects and advancing product development.

 

    • Dennis Raadschelders, strategic account manager, Benelux: Raadschelders is a horticulture veteran with broad cultivation and sales experience. Raadschelders previously served as an account manager for Grodan as well as a rose grower in the Netherlands. Raadschelders will support horticulture and floriculture projects in the Benelux region.

 

  • André Lagareiro, strategic account manager, cannabis: Lagareiro brings more than 10 years of experience in the cannabis industry to Fluence. He will be focused on cannabis projects in Europe, leveraging expertise gained through his work at Paradise Seeds, a renowned cannabis seed bank, as well as his recent role as an international account manager for Hortilux.

 

Fluence’s EMEA team currently operates in 30 countries. In the last several months alone, the company secured a number of multi-hectare projects with diverse crops and continued its leading photobiology research as an extension of the company’s global research initiatives.
